South Brunswijk:
A man was forced to throw his 3-year-old son and also jump out of a second-floor window of a building to escape a fire in a heart-pounding video from New Jersey, USA.
In the images shared by the South Brunswick Township Police Department’s public relations agency, we can see several panicked first responders near the building, which is engulfed in flames and smoke. Standing under the building with their arms spread, the officers try to persuade the man trapped on the second floor to throw his child down.
We can hear the officers yelling “pass the baby”. As the father clears a passage out of the window, we see debris raining down. He then throws the shocked child out the window before jumping off the second floor, head first.
The incident took place last week and the terrifying ordeal was captured on an officer’s body camera.
South Brunswick Police wrote in the post: ‘Rescue captured on officers’ body-worn camera. Dad throws kid out the 2nd floor window at cops and firefighters, then jumps to escape flames consuming apartment building.”
