After being suspended for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, board exams will return from this year for grades 10 and 12 in physical mode. The CBSE has divided the academic year into two parts that cover half of the syllabus. While the first semester exam is expected to be released soon, the semester 2 exams will be held from April. Likewise, many other exams and results are expected to be announced in April, including the NEET, UP board exams, and UPTET results.
JEE Head 2022
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 website has been launched. The web address jeemain.nta.nic.in directs students to a new interface. However, it still doesn’t show any details regarding JEE Main 2022, but the notification for JEE Main 2022 is also expected to come out soon. The exam will probably be taken twice this year.
CBSE Term 1 Board Results
The Central Council of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct exams for class 10 and 12 from April 26. However, the board has not yet released a detailed datasheet of the exams. CBSE has asked its affiliated schools to take the practical exams for the above classes from March 2.
UP Board Exams
The Uttar Pradesh Board Exam for Classes 10 and 12 is likely to begin after the state assembly elections. While a detailed date sheet is still awaited, the board is likely to hold the exams in April and May. The board has identified 8,373 centers for conducting these exams for a total of more than 50 lakh students who have registered for classes 10 and 12 boards. The datasheet is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
UPTET results
After being canceled last year due to a paper leak, the 2021 Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) was conducted on January 23, 2022. While the result was expected to be released at the end of February, it was delayed due to the model code from before the on-going being elections to the state assembly. The education department will now release the results after the declaration of the election results. While the date confirmation is still pending, the results may be delayed until April
NEET 2022
Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical programs was usually conducted in the month of April or May each year. However, due to delays in the process, NEET 2022 could be postponed to June. While the official notification is still pending, it is highly unlikely that the nationwide admission test will be completed before April. The date for NEET 2022 will be confirmed after the release of the notification sometime in March.
CTET results
With the result of the Central Teachers’ Eligibility Test (CTET) being postponed from the tentative date of February 15, the wait for aspirants could get even longer. While CBSE has yet to confirm the result date, the announcement may be delayed until April.
