Students from Manipur have the option to change the city for the NEET, CUET exams (Representative Image)
For NEET-UG 2023, the exam will be held between June 3 and June 5. For the 2023 CUET-UG, NTA has proposed to hold a computer-based test between June 5 and June 8.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released dates in its notice for the candidates in Manipur seeking to apply for NEET-UG, CUET-UG and CUET-PG 2023. the northeastern state.
For NEET-UG 2023, the exam will be held between June 3 and June 5. Applicants must take their entrance exam by pen and paper in offline mode. For the CUET-UG 2023, NTA has proposed a computer-based test. The exam will take place between 5 and 8 June. On the other hand, candidates for the CUET-PG 2023 will take an exam from June 5 to 17, also in computer-based testing mode.
Furthermore, students from Manipur have the option to change the city for the exam. Students who do not want to miss a year of their academic journey due to legal and regulatory requirements can update their exam location. Such candidates must download new admission cards with a change of location. Students from Manipur who wish to obtain CUET-UG, NEET-UG or CUET-PG can only change their exam city from the cities listed below:
1. Aizawl (Mizoram)
2. Kohima/Dimapur (Nagaland)
3. Shillong (Meghalaya)
4. Guwahati (Assam)
5. Jorhat (Assam)
6.Silchar (Assam)
7. Kolkata (West Bengal)
8.Delhi
9. Bangalore (Karnataka)
10. Imphal (Manipur)
The change of exam city option is only available to Manipur candidates through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) facility. The duration of the facility is available from May 28 to May 30 at 7:00 PM. A notification about this will be sent to each candidate on his/her registered mobile number with the online application form for the relevant exam. The Candidates must use their registered mobile number to avail this facility through IVRS.
Alternatively, a candidate from Manipur has the option of contacting or reaching the concerned City Coordinator’s office in any of the listed cities to change their exam city option. NTA’s respective city coordinators share a consolidated list of candidates with their application number, exam name, and preferred exam city.
After receiving the city change options from the interested Manipur candidates through any of the above modes, NTA will issue new admission tickets accordingly through the respective official examination portals. Students are advised to check the official website for any changes to the procedure or to download entry tickets.
