The Quality Council of India (QCI) will soon start accepting applications for the positions of Examiner of Patents and Design (Group A). Candidates can apply for examiner posts through the official QCI website at qcin.org. The online registration process begins on July 14 and ends on August 4.
According to the recruitment notice, the e-admission card will be released on August 14 and the pre-examination will be held on September 3. The main exam will be held on October 1. Through this recruitment drive, the Quality Council of India will fill a total of 553 vacancies in the organization.

QCI Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: The minimum age is 21 years while the maximum age is 35 years on the last date of submission of the online application form.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s and master’s degree in the relevant field.
QCI Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the general and OBC categories are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 1,000. Those belonging to the SC, ST, PwD/Differentlyabled (PH) and women (from all categories) categories pay Rs 500.
QCI Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Candidates are selected in three phases or stages. The entrance exam, the main exam and the interview. The minimum qualifying mark in the pre-examination for candidates from the unreserved category is 30 per cent, OBC/EWS is 25 per cent and 20 per cent for all others. Meanwhile, the medium of the exam for preparatory, main courses and interviews will be in English only. The interview round will be 100 points and will test the shortlisted candidates on the topics covered in the pre- and main exams.

Selected candidates will be paid between Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. The vacancies are provisional and may be reduced or increased depending on the actual need at the time of the final appointment, the official notice reads.
