Sriram’s IAS, a coaching institute, has announced scholarships for meritorious students based on income and EWS certificate. The institute gives a 10 percent scholarship discount to economically weaker students. People with other adverse circumstances, including physical disabilities, and the loss of the family’s breadwinner, will also be considered after the fact-checking, the institute said. The institute will start with a new batch on 5 and 19 September.
In addition to the scholarship facility, SRIRAM’s IAS has expanded its support by providing coaching for UPSC aspirants who cannot afford a coaching program. These candidates are offered a convenient EMI facility, available for up to 18 months. The premier institute will start this year with its scholarship and other discounts related to the economically weaker section (EWS) and disabilities are valid all year round.
About the initiative, Sri Ram Srirangam, Founder and Director of SRIRAM’s IAS, said: “Our scholarship program will help deserving students fulfill their dream with full potential without any financial burden or instability. We are confident that more students will show an interest in participating in our online and offline coaching programs through our scholarship initiative.”
The new batch of Civil Services Coaching Program 2023 from SRIRAM’s IAS begins September 5 and 19, with courses such as General Studies Comprehensive, General Studies Module, and Optional Subject.

The IIT Madras and the National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) have launched an online platform to offer Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) candidates for free training. In other news, a group of doctors and medical students in Maharashtra is offering free coaching to students from poor families and rural areas.
Launched in 2015, the Lift for Upliftment (LFU) project has helped more than a hundred students from poor families to pass the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), a pre-medical entrance test for all Indian MBBS and other courses.
