The group of bats was captured on cameras that flew quickly in one direction and together towards the sky, looking like a plume of black smoke.

Bats are so important to our planet,” said another. “A spectacular natural phenomenon,” the third added, while a fourth commented: “It’s unbelievable! Wonder why they all seem to have come out.”

Meanwhile, speaking of bats, a study recently revealed that certain wild bats have long-term memory for sounds. The researchers found that the frog-eating bats (Trachop’s cirrhosis) consistently responded to ringing, which rewarded them with food.
The territory of these bats extends from southern Mexico and Central America to Bolivia and Brazil, and they are also known as fringed bats. They are medium in size and feed on frogs, lizards, insects, fruits and even other bats. The researchers implanted microchips in 49 bats, which were part of the study, and released them into the wild.
