Three migrant workers from Bihar were killed on Thursday by a mudslide while installing sewer pipes in the village of Kapro in the Narnaund subdivision of this district, a senior official said.
The work of assembling sewage pipes was underway near Indraj Park in Kapro village, for which these workers were working 3 to 3 meters below, said Vikas Yadav, Narnaund’s deputy magistrate.
Meanwhile, the ground suddenly slid, engulfing all three in mud. The administration and police took all three out using heavy earthmoving equipment, but by then they were dead, he said.
