“I was convinced that me and Akash (his son) would not get tickets together. With hard work he has created his own niche in the city. Why should I participate in polls? Thanks to me, he should not suffer any political damage. This played out in my mind as a father. But the order of the party is the order of the party,” he said.
Akash currently represents the Indore-3 seat in the state legislative assembly.
