Votes have been cast, but Pakistan appears to be no closer to a resolution in the battle between former cricketer Imran Khan's PTI and Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League. Although Imran Khan's party seems to be slightly ahead, it still remains a few seats away from the majority. Amid this impasse where no solution seems easy, Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir wrote a cryptic post on social media, involving former captain Imran Khan, and caught the attention of the entire Pakistani cricket fraternity.
“Batsman kis ko dekh rha hai wese bht hi piyari picture hai (who is the batsman looking at? A beautiful picture),” Amir wrote on X (formerly Twitter) with a picture of Imran Khan.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered re-elections to be held at various polling stations across the country following the verification of complaints of snatching and damage of voting materials, reported by Geo News.
After going through all the challenging stages of conducting national elections on February 8, the poll organizing authority is now in the final stages of declaring the voting results as the compilation process enters its 48th hour.
According to Geo News, the commission responded to complaints from various parts of the country about incidents of voting materials being taken and damaged at several polling stations, prompting local election officials to postpone voting processes.
In a recent development, the top electoral body has scheduled re-elections at several polling stations on February 15. The results from these polling stations will be announced upon completion of the re-election events.
The ECP has ordered re-elections at 25 polling stations in the said constituency due to damage caused to voting materials by terrorists on election day.
Meanwhile, the election body has directed the Regional Election Commissioner to submit an inquiry report within three days regarding complaints of vandalism at a polling station in NA-242 Karachi Keamari-I-Sindh.
