Minimize Hair Wax: One should keep hair washing to a minimum in winter season. Shampooing just two or three times a week can help dry out the hair. If you wash your hair, make sure it’s dry before going outside, as cold air can damage wet locks.
Apply natural oils before washing: Protect your hair from drying out by applying natural oils, such as olive oil, to the strands before shampooing. The oils act as a conditioning treatment ensuring that the moisture remains intact even after rinsing.
Use a deep conditioning treatment: Using styling tools at home in winter can cause your locks to lose moisture. Use a deep conditioning treatment once a week to replenish moisture.
Regular embellishments: Maintaining healthy hair prevents hair damage from the cold. Be sure to trim regularly, especially after the cold temperatures start to pass.
