Berlin:
Police in the western German city of Essen said on Tuesday they arrested a man after receiving “clues of a possible attack scenario”.
Whether the man “known to police” was preparing an attack “is under investigation,” police said in a statement, without providing details on the suspect’s identity.
According to several media reports, the suspect is a 29-year-old man who allegedly planned to attack a pro-Israel demonstration.
