Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted people on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev’s birth anniversary and said his emphasis on serving others and promoting brotherhood gives strength to millions around the world.
Guru Nanak was the founder of Sikhism.

Guru Nanak’s valuable messages are inspiring and relevant even today, not only for India but for the entire world, the Prime Minister said in his monthly radio program, adding that they inspire people to be simple, harmonious and devoted towards others.
In another post, Prime Minister Modi extended his wishes to people on the occasion of Dev Deepavali, which is celebrated on Kartik Purnima, the last day of the auspicious Hindu month of Kartik.
