New Delhi:
A Delhi court on Friday extended the detention for 14 days of Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who allegedly strangled his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and dismembered her body, a source said.
Poonawala was taken to court via video conference, the court source said.
At the last hearing in the case on November 26, the court had extended the pre-trial detention of the suspect by 13 days.
Poonawala, 28, reportedly chopped Shraddha Walkar’s body into 35 pieces and stored them in a 300 liter fridge at his residence in Mehrauli in South Delhi for nearly three weeks before dumping them around the city over several days.
