A video of a young boy complaining that Mahindra's car showrooms are not aimed at children has gone viral on social media. The boy, called a 'little follower' of Mahindra Automotive, pointed out the lack of facilities for children compared to refreshments for adults.
The video, shared by Vikas Garg on March 5, highlighted the concerns of the child, identified as 'Master Advik' from Mumbai.
In the video, the boy wondered why the facilities were mainly intended for adults and why there were no facilities for children such as tea and coffee.
“Sir, this is a call from Master Advik, a small follower of Mahindra, to consider them as equally influential in the car buying decision making process,” Mr Vikas captioned the video.
Commenting on the video, Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group, agreed with Vikas' sentiments and recognized the significant impact that children's voices have in today's context.
The Mahindra Group chairman emphasized the importance of addressing children's perspectives in showroom experiences and promised to take action on Advik's suggestion in his post on March 6.
“Today, children's voices and opinions have a huge impact on the car a family buys. And Advik is right too: we're not doing enough to care about children in showrooms. I know our team will be inspired to act on Advik's suggestion,” Anand Mahindra said in his post.
You are absolutely right, Vikas.
Today, children's voices and opinions have a huge influence on the car a family buys.
And Advik is also right: we don't do enough to care about children in the showrooms.
I know our team will be inspired to take action on… https://t.co/tcvEMvx6o1
